ACTING LESSONS FOR LIFE

What can all of us learn from performers? How does ‘stage presence’ translate to presence in all aspects of life?  Through hands-on guided activities, we explore what it means to truly pay attention, take risks, and connect authentically with ourselves and those around us.

PRESENCE IN TEACHING

How do teachers present themselves and their information in today’s classroom? This workshop offers concrete instruction on configuring your space (or your screen), owning and presenting yourself, your platforms and your material, and connecting effectively with students.

PRESENCE IN PREACHING

In any faith, effective speaking requires discernment of message and craft in delivery. This workshop focuses on practical challenges specific to clergy and religious services: focus and acoustics in large spaces, technology considerations, spacing and visibility of sacraments and mitzvahs, and techniques to support reverence, meaning, and belonging during weekly and special ceremonies.

PAGE TO STAGE: CREATING CAPTIVATING CONTENT AND SHARING IT WITH THE WORLD

Great speeches start with knowing your purpose, understanding your audience, and shaping your content. This two-day workshop focuses on structuring compelling speeches for an audience and exploring performance techniques to share your ideas with the world.
